Pogba Set To Talk About His Manchester United Troubles

Paul Pogba is reportedly set to give a detailed account of his Manchester United woes to Didier Deschamps when he meets with the French national team boss this week.

The 25-year-old has been sub-par on some occasions this season and has even been benched by United boss Jose Mourinho over his poor performances which many attribute to Pogba being deployed out of position.

The France international has featured in just four of United’s last 11 games due to fitness issues, injuries and poor form, but Deschamps is keen to “understand” Pogba’s troubles at United in a bid to properly utilise the midfielder’s talents at the World Cup.

Speaking on Pogba’s issues at United the French tactician said “There must be numerous reasons. It can happen elsewhere that a player is a bit down or is going through a particular situation with his club. That could be Paul now, or others at other times, and I will do as I always do and talk to that player to understand better because I don’t have all the information”.

Pogba has scored just three goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season, but he’s managed to register nine assists thus highlighting his importance to United even in a rough patch.

Manchester United currently sit in second place in the Premier League standings and having been knocked out of the Champions League by Sevilla, the FA Cup represents their last remaining chance of winning some silverware.
