Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Manchester United’s defender DiogoDalot, according to reports. The full-back who sometimes plays as a winger has a contract with Man Utd until 2023, but he is set to leave the team this transfer window.
The Portuguese international moved to the Red Devils from Porto in the summer of 2018 for €22 million. But, several injuries and, what’s more important, Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s arrival didn’t allow him to play up to his full potential at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old has made just 34 appearances since he joined Manchester United and he doesn’t seem to have a future at Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side right now.
Dalot’s flexibility could be a major factor why Les Parisiens want to have him in their team. In addition to the right-back position, he is able to play on both flanks. Manchester United spent an impressive sum on Dalot and will certainly want to earn more if they are planning to let him go.
