Netherlands had shockingly failed to qualify at the just concluded Euro Championship. The Oranje have played lots of friendlies this year, winning most of the matches. They are currently on a good run of form, and they hope to keep it that way as they prepare for the FIFA World Cup 2018 qualification campaign. Netherlands head-coach Danny Blind prefers to omit veterans and to add some young blood into his squad, such players as Luciano Narsingh, Luuk de Jong, Georginio Wijnaldum, Riechedly Bazoer and Vincent Janssen are all in contention for the starting lineup.

On the other hand, Greece also didn’t feature in the EURO 2016, just like their opponents, they failed to qualify. Though their last outing was a 2-1 away win against Australia, they haven’t been in the best of form lately. 2 first half goals from Mantalos and Maniatis in the 8th and 20th minute secured them a win as the home side only scored once. They will hope to beat the Dutch team as they prepare for FIFA World Cup 2018 qualification fixture against Gibraltar national team.

Netherlands Vs Greece: Head-to-Head Stats

The Netherlands are on the outstanding run against Greece, as they are undefeated in their 8 meetungs against them. The Oranje side have won 7 matches against the Greeks and 1 ended up as a stalemate.
