Napoli At Home Played A Draw With Roma

Dries Mertens, the substitute of Napoli successfully scored a goal at the last minute to recover 1-1 draw in Serie A Sunday against AS Roma, although it did slip off the pace to achieve title as it was purely home record one. The Belgian did volley the ball in the net through the range post; Jose Callejon missed the shot from the pass by Lorenzo Insigne to score a point for the 2nd place side.

The pressure was lifted by AC Milan on Gennaro Gattuso when there was a strike by Suso, which made them get a 3-2 win in a see-saw match over Sampdoria. The fiery ex-midfielder had been offered 2 matches so as to retain his job post several defeats by Inter Milan during the league and also in the Europa League which took place last week. Now, Milan is in 5th place with 15 points which are 2 places ahead of Sampdoria with a difference in goal.
