Mourinho: Shaw is far behind Man United

Jose Mourinho has cast doubt over the future of his player Luke Shaw. He heavily criticized the player during an interview and expressed disappointment about the draw with West Bromwich Albion.

Shaw was one of the subjects in Mourinho’s press conference. United manager didn’t select him for the matchday squad. And Jose finally expressed all negative attitude in short word.

While he was asked about Shaw Mourinho just said “Who?” and then brought the wave of criticism. “It is difficult for Luke to be on the bench. I can’t compare him with other players like Young, Blind, Darmian… The way of his trains, focus, ambition, the way he commits. Shaw way behind in all of that”, declared Mourinho.

21 y.o. left-back arrived at Man United from Southampton for a record fee for a teenager of £30 million in 2014. He has 7 England Cups and experience at 2014 World Cup. He probably could be a national team player. But Mourinho claims that Shaw isn’t good enough. Apparently, his future in the club remains unknown and in the end of the season he can leave.
