The football world would never be the same after the COVID-19 pandemic, and Jose Mourinho can’t but agree with this fact. The Tottenham Hotspur manager complains about the long breaks between the games his club has in the Premier League. Tottenham will play Sheffield United this evening, and it will be more than seven days after their previous game with West Ham. Mourinho, who frequently criticizes football in England for fixture pile-ups, is extremely unhappy with that. He believes that the ideal break between matches should be about three days, as it helps football players stay in good shape. The Tottenham boss adds that such intervals will make his team lose intensity during this period. While his remarks are quite logical and fair, let’s hope for the best. Jose Mourinho, who headed Tottenham Hotspur in 2019, works hard to make his team the best one. Right now, Spurs is the eighth in the Premier League with seven matches left to play.
