Monaco vs PSG French Cup Live Online Commentary

AS Monaco overcame Nancy in the semi-finals in a tight win that ended 1-0. PSG beat Bordeaux in what was a one-sided affair as the reigning champions ran out 4-1 winners. The French media still see Monaco as the pretenders to the best team in Ligue 1 but the team has proven this season that they have made the step up. The team is currently in first position in Ligue 1 and they also went through to the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League and are the only French team left in the tournaments. As regards AS Monaco team news: defender Andrea Raggi and top scorer Radamel Falcao have been injured and are not expected to be available.

On the other hand, PSG have had to adjust with life without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and new manager Unai Emery has been under pressure for most part of the campaign. However PSG have been excellent this season and can still defend their championship. Right now both of these sides will want to put their marker firmly down and claim the first cup of the season in France. PSG’s only injury ahead of this game is right-back Thomas Meunier.
