Mohamed Salah‘s first season in Liverpool will be the one he will surely never forget.

The Egypt international, who came to the Reds from Roma for just £36.9 million, is one of the best strikers in European football this season, and he scored his 24th goal of the Premier league campaign against Newcastle earlier today.

Five minutes before the half-time, winger scored the opener of the Merseyside match, which was his 26th match this season with at least one goal. That puts him on the top of the list of the players who scored in multiple games this season, with Edinson Cavani coming second with 24 games,  Robert Lewandowski with 23, Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane with 21, and Lionel Messi with 20 different scoring games.
