Manchester United Vs Watford Live Online Commentary

Jose Mourinho’s men are now only one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool, who holds the UEFA Europa League qualifying berth for next season. In their previous league match last Sunday, United have finally got a victory after three consecutive draws following a convincing 3-0 win over reigning champs Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium. Armenian playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the score with a fantastic solo goal inside the box. Zlatan then netted his 15th Premier League goal just two minutes later off a cross by right-back Antonio Valencia to make it a 2-0 before the half-time whistle. Spanish magician Juan Mata then sealed the victory four minutes after the restart with a give-and-go play with Mkhitaryan. Touching injury news: Wayne Rooney, Marcos Rojo, and Phil Jones are all hoping to recover from minor problems to play here.

On the flip side, The Hornets won two consecutive matches after being without a win in their previous four to settle in the 10th place of the Premier League table. Watford are boasting a new attacking partnership with the arrivals of Mauro Zarate and M’Baye Niang from Serie A. New boys Zarate, Niang, and team skipper Troy Deeney led the attack for their manager Walter Mazzarri in a 4-3-3 formation during their narrow 2-1 vicotry over a 10-man Burnley. After Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick was sent off in the sixth minute, Deeney broke the deadlock four minutes later to give Watford the early lead. Niang then doubled the lead in the first half injury time to take full control of the match. As regards injury news: Christian Kabasele should be fit after resuming full training this week, however both Costel Pantilimon and Nordin Amrabat are doubts. Roberto Pereyra is definitely ruled out.
