Manchester United Vs Swansea Live Online Commentary

Jose Mourinho’s tutored side picked up a hard-fought point in midweek when they visited Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. They ended up down to ten men after Marouane Fellaini aimed a headbutt at Sergio Aguero, but despite that they kept the game goalless amid heavy pressure from the hosts. This keeps the Red Devils in touch with the top four, with them remaining a point behind Manchester City but only two points off Liverpool in 3rd and with a game in hand. However United have a tough run of fixtures to end the season though, travelling to Arsenal, Tottenham, and Southampton. The draw in midweek extends Manchester United’s unbeaten spell to 24 Premier League matches, which would be an incredibly impressive run of form had they not drawn 11 of these matches.

On the flip side, Swansea City are facing a different sort of battle to their counterparts as they struggle against relegation. Last weekend they got a 2-0 victory at home to Stoke to leave them two points adrift of safety with four matches remaining. This ended a six match spell without a win for the Swans, but on the road they have lost six consecutive matches and won just two of their last 17 in all tournaments. They have made marginal improvements recently though, especially to their defence. They have only lost by two or more goals in two of their last eight league away days, including a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City and a 3-2 win at Anfield.
