In last game against Espanyol, the Welsh footballer scored a stunning free kick at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. He received a deserved celebration from the home fans, but the Madrid fans jeered him when he didn’t pass to Ronaldo and failed to add another goal.

His teammate Ronaldo defended him saying “What’s happened on Saturday is in the past. Sometimes I commit some mistakes too, so it’s part of the business, it is part of football so I think fans will be nice to him and they should be nice to him. He is a key player, very important for Real Madrid and we are going to need him this year again.”

In this season of La Liga, Gareth Bale have scored eight goals in fourteen goals. The figures shows he is not at his peak level for which he is known for. After joining Real Madrid, the vikings won four titles including the FIFA Club World Cup. Except in UEFA Super Cup, the midfielder scored in every final match that he played with Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in the beginning of last season. He is a proven Premier League star scoring 21 goals during his final season with Super – and wouldn’t need much time to adapt. United have struggled to replace wingers Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo in recent years, with players such as Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia and Nani failing to deliver on their potential.

Whether he joins Manchester United or not, first he will play the crucial match against Atletico Madrid on 15 Jan. He was responsible for Real Madrid first trophy of last season that was Copa Del Rey. Now he wants to show his best when his team is losing from city rivals by two goals.
