Marouane Fellaini saw red after head-butting Sergio Aguero while Man City and Man United goalless derby.
The most interesting moment of the match was while 29 y.o. Belgian lost his control and clashed with Man City forward. The red for violent conduct also means 3-match suspension for Fellaini.
The game was full of incidents and chances to score for both teams. However, it was not the game to win rather the game to not lose considering the positions on the Premier League table.
Still, hosts took advantage of the game at the very beginning. At first, Yaya Toure has won the midfield and then Kevin De Bruyne made a good low cross from the right in the 9th minute. Aguero almost opened the score if David De Gea’ hasn’t seen his shot.
Man United was holding the pressure and Marcus Rashford with Anthony Martial even made few good attempts to hit rivals. Still, all threads led to nothing.
The second half went nearly the same except the Fellaini-Aguero incident. Jose Mourinho seemed very frustrated about that which you can see on the highlights.
At last Aguero has made excellent attempt and ball is on the net. Offside! Pep in total desperate. And that’s how the match over for both teams.
