Real Madrid celebrity Karim Benzema could switch Spain for France soon. According to Lyon chief Juninho, the French club are eyeing a move for the 32-year-old footballer. Benzema isn’t a new player at Groupama Stadium. Actually, he joined theLigue 1 side when he was a child and scored 66 goals in more than one hundred appearances for the team before joining Madrid in 2009. The French international has spent 11 years at the Spanish club and scored 21 times during the last campaign to help the team with the La Liga title. Madrid will go through big changes next season, and Juninho want Karim Benzema to finish his playing days at his boyhood club. Furthermore, the Lyon boss says it is their dream that the Madrid star ends with them. Lyon’s captain Depay is currently linked with Barcelona. If he moves to the Catalan club, they will desperately need a replacement. Benzema seems to be an excellent alternative as he is one of the top scorers in the football world.
