Liverpool rejected Barcelona’s £90m bid for Philippe Coutinho

Today Barcelona made a second offer for Coutinho, which was immediately rejected. Reds don’t want to sell 25-years-old Brazilian star even for £90m.

Liverpool representatives said many times that their player is not for sale and any offers will be denied. Coutinho arrived from Milan in January 2013. During the last 2016/17 season, he scored 13 times and made 7 assists in 31 appearances. Today Philippe is the key figure of the team and Vincenzo Montella won’t sell him for any price.

Barcelona has finances due to their recent £200m Neymar deal. So they can spend some money. But Coutinho signed a five-year contract in January and chance to get him to Camp Nou is nearly zero.
