Liverpool is going to sign Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich. According to The Athletic, the Premier League club have finally agreed a fee with the Bundesliga side. As it turns out, the Reds are ready to pay £27 million for the Spanish international. The 29-year-old player has been eyed by Liverpool all summer, but there were fears that Jurgen Klopp’s club wouldn’t be able to meet Bayern’s asking price. Those concerns are now over, as a transfer deal has currently been agreed between the sides. The former Barcelona man has shown great results in Bayern’s winning season in 2019/20 and now he is considered as one of the top footballers in the world. He had less than one year left on his deal at Allianz Arena when the German champions decided to sell him. Thiago is yet to agree personal terms with the Reds but it is expected that this part of the process will be relatively fast as the Spaniard is keen on a move to Merseyside.
