The Reds are reportedly planning a move for Ozan Kabak from Schalke, Sport Media Set claims. Moreover, the Bundesliga side are ready to reduce their asking price for the 20-year-old player. Jurgen Klopp is looking for a new centre-back to bolster the squad following the injury suffered by Virgil van Dijk. Ben White, who currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion, is Liverpool’s top target in that position. But the former Newport County loanee seems to be too expensive for Klopp’s side. Ozan Kabak is another footballer on Liverpool’s radar and he seems to be a good choice for the Premier League club at this point. According to reports, Schalke currently want £27.1 million for the Turkey international, with Milan also keen on signing him. The Reds were linked with the defender during the summer transfer window when rumors circulated that it would take up to £40 million to move him away from Arena AufSchalke. Now, the German club could consider a cut-price fee for the youngster.
