Leon Osman is of the opinion that the present form of Everton is a cause of concern and Marco Silva, the manager has to improve the results in January. Everton has come down to the 10th position in Premier League after one win in the last 5 games. They are all set to face Southampton, Huddersfield, and Bournemouth after the third-round toe of FA Cup with Lincoln.
Osman, the former midfielder of Everton is of the opinion that the club is improving under Silva. However, the results should also improve and it is necessary that they recruit properly in the month of January. He has further added that he still feels that Silva is still working on the Everton side to improve them. The points might be the same as last season but the style of football has changed. He also says that there have been games where the match didn’t go as per the plan but when you to a club and make some changes, you might not get everything right at all times.
Osman has admitted that Silva’s second part at the Watford, the former club, where his squad had taken 11 points out of sixteen matches prior to his departure, is a cause of concern, too. However, there are several things to be happy about even if Everton has to get back to winning games as soon as possible. January is an important month for Marco Silva and hopefully, he is going to recruit well for improving the team. They desperately need a striker to bring about a difference in the game.
