Leicester City has started their title defense on the wrong foot by being winless in three of their first four matches, something that manager Claudio Ranieri did not want and anticipate. After opening their season with a terrible 1–2 loss to newly-promoted Hull City, the Foxes then settled to a 0–0 stalemate with Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal. They managed to snatch a 2–1 victory over Swansea City in their third game, though. However, their last game was again a tough one, as they were demolished 1–4 by Liverpool at the Anfield last Saturday. This midweek The Foxes played their first ever Champions League match against Club Brugge and they performed brilliantly as Leicester boys grabbed a fascinating 3–0 away victory through the goal from Marc Albrighton and Riyad Mahrez’ brace.

On the other hand, Burnley remained winless in their last two matches after drawing 1–1 with Hull City at the Turf Moor also last Saturday. The game’s first goal was scored at the 72nd minute via a long-range strike by Clarets new signing Steven Defour from 25 yards out. It looked like head coach Sean Dyche’s squad is heading towards their second victory of the season, but Hull’s midfielder Robert Snodgrass found the equalizer in stoppage time through a brilliant free-kick goal to force the tie and a share of a point in the overall standings for the two squads.
