Despite starting the UEFA Champions League campaign on a high note with 3–0 trashing of Club Brugge, Leicester have had a decrease in form, as Claudio Ranieri’s side lost 2 back-to-back domestic league matches to Chelsea and Manchester United respectively. Ranieri’s boys were demolished at Old Trafford on Saturday in a 4–1 defeat, making it their third defeat in the premier league. They now hope to switch back to winning ways in the Champions league, as they hope to remain top of the group G standings. As regards injury news, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel will be hoping to return to the action on Tuesday, while defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy is still sidelined.

On the other hand, the Portuguese team began their Champions League campaign with a home 1–1 draw against Copenhagen. Porto have been in good form this season, losing just once and drawn 2 games in all competitions this season. They won 3–1 at home on Saturday against Boavista and will be hoping to build on the win as they travel to reigning Premier League champions Leicester City.
