Lazio Vs Inter Milan Live Online Commentary

Lazio come into this match having lost to Juventus 2-0 in the Coppa Italia final. They will be naturally very disappointed having failed to stop the Juve from making it the third straight Coppa Italia title, but the Biancocelesti have been in some superb form this season, regardless. Lazio have booked their place in the UEFA Europa League and have pretty much secured fourth spot of the table.

Simone Inzaghi and his men shall certainly want to wrap up this great season with a home victory. By contrast, as Lazio look forward to the Europa League, Inter appear to be doing everything they can to avoid playing in the competition. That’s because the Nerazzurri are not going to finish in fourth, or even fifth. Sixth place is the best they could achieve, and they certainly seem not to want to begin their season in July. Inter’ve fired ex head coach Stefano Pioli after a defeat to Genoa and come into this match having lost 2-1 to Sassuolo.

With Inter indifferent, Lazio will look to exploit the Nerazzurri’s lack of form as they aim to give their supporters something to cheer about. Atalanta are four points behind and not likely to catch the Biancocelesti, but Inzaghi’s side will want to recover from their Coppa Italia loss by winning a match against an Inter side.

As for two teams squad news: Lazio are still without their first choise keeper Federico Marchetti and Jordan Lukaku. Midfilder Marco Parolo remains a doubt ahead of this match. Inter are without centre-back Miranda, while defensive midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia and full-back Cristian Ansaldi are both suspended.
