Paris Saint Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has announced that he is planning to stay in the French club for the next season, despite the rumors about his possible exit.
The French footballer’s future has been the subject of heated discussions with numerous reports alleging the player wants to leave the Ligue 1 club and is looking for the next step of his career.
However, Mbappe has confirmed that he is going to be with the Parisians at least for some time. The 21-year-old says that the 50th anniversary of the club will be a special year, so he desires to be a part of this story. The forward adds that he will stay “no matter what.”
Mbappe, who is considered one of the best players in the world, has been a target for Los Blancos for several years. In 2017, the Spanish club had sealed an agreement to take him from Monaco, but the Frenchman selected PSG as his next destination instead.
It is unclear whether the superstar prolongs his contract with The Red and Blues, which ends in 2022 or not. According to the various reports in Spanish and French press, he isn’t keen on extending his current deal. So a move to Real Madrid is still a possibility next year.
