Birth and family: Kevin De Bruyne was born on 28th June 1991 in Drongen, Belgium. It is a sub municipality of the city of Ghent located in Flanders. His mother name is Anna De Bruyne who is English. He began his footballing career in 2003 at KVV Drongen. After two years [2005], he moved to Gent. He played for Genk from 2005 to 2008 where he made 97 appearances and scored 16 goals total.
