Juventus Vs Inter Milan Live Online Commentary
Juventus is on a two-game winning spell after suffering their fourth defeat of the campaign against Fiorentina last month. The team has won five of their last six matches to remain at the summit of the Italian top flight standings, only four points ahead of second-running team AS Roma. In their most recent Serie A fixture last Sunday, Le Zebre went on a 2–0 romp of lowly team Sassuolo away from home at the Mapei Stadium-Città del Tricolore. Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuaín broke scored the first goal in the ninth minute of the game with a right-footed shot from the center of the box off a cross by Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro. German holding-midfielder Sami Khedira then doubled the lead in the 25th minute with his own right-footer, this time with Higuaín providing the assist. Both teams went scoreless after that as Juve came away with the two-goal victory. Midfielder Mario Lemina is Juve’s only injury concern ahead of this game.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan continued their ascent in the overall table after a lopsided 3–0 victory over rock bottom side Pescara at their home turf of Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro last Saturday. Italian defender Danilo D’Ambrosio opened the scoring for head coach Stefano Pioli’s side in the 23rd minute before Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario made it a 2–0 count two minutes before the halftime break. Italian forward Eder then sealed the game in the 73rd minute with a close-range finish from a pass by team captain Mauro Icardi following a fast break attack. The victory was their seventh consecutive one for I Nerazzurri as the team has climbed to the fourth place of the league table. They now hold a UEFA Europa League qualifying spot for next season and are only three points behind Napoli for the final UEFA Champions League berth next season. Inter come in to this match with a fully fit squad to choose from, which is a big boost for Stefano Pioli.
