Joe Hart has completed his move to Burnley from Manchester City on an initial two-year deal for a fee worth around £3.5m.
The Clarets also have an option to his extend his contract by a further year after personal terms were finalized late on Monday night.
Sean Dyche secured the services of the former England number one due to limited options in that department. The duo of Nick Pope and Tom Heaton are injured with less than a week to go until the start of the Premier League campaign
Speaking last Friday, Pep Guardiola was uncertain about Hart’s future: “We will see what happens in the next days, we know the situation.”
Hart, who won two Premier League titles with City, spent last season on loan at West Ham.
In 2016, Hart joined Serie A side Torino on loan after falling down the pecking order at City following Guardiola’s arrival.
Elsewhere, Burnley are working hard to secure the services of Jay Rodriguez from West Brom, according to Sky sources.
