This summer, Arsenal didn’t manage to have Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr signed, as some sources revealed. The player aged 19 is currently having a hard time at Real Madrid. He joined the club just a year ago. What’s more, the arrival of Eden Hazard sent Vinicius Jr down the pecking order for a spot on the wing. Additionally, he seems to be unable to have Zinedine Zidane won over. In his interview, the player told that in any football club or the international squad, right-footers prefer playing on the left just like Hazard does in Madrid Real and the same is true for Neymar. It’s up to the coach to decide where the player should perform. That’s why he asked Zidane to put him on the left to ramp up his chance to effectively play. Notwithstanding the fact Arsenal failed to acquire Vinicius Jr, they generally had a good summer transfer window. What’s more, the Gunners managed to get rid of a pile of deadwood in the squad.
