Granada Vs Real Madrid Live Online Commentary

Granada were officially relegated from the Spanish top flight division last weekend when they lost at Real Sociedad. They’ve taken just 1 point from their last 10 games and their 4 matches so far under English head coach Tony Adams have all ended in defeat with Granada netting just once under the Englishman and conceding 9. They have the worst goalscoring record in La Liga with just 0.80 goals per game and also the 2nd worst defensive record with 2.11 per game conceded.

On the flip side, Real Madrid come into this match in highly confident mood having cruised to an all-important 3-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the 1st Leg of their UEFA Champions League Semi-Final as Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick. They remain on course to win La Liga, needing 10 points from their final 4 games to guarantee they clinch the title. Head coach Zinedine Zidane is likely to rotate again but with arguably the strongest squad in European football that’s no great problem. Real’s fringe players have provided some firepower when they’ve been drafted into the side in recent weeks with very convincing wins away from home at Eibar and Deportivo La Coruna amongst others. One player who is almost certain to feature in this match is the Spaniard striker Alvaro Morata. He averages a goal every 89 minutes in La Liga this term and should get plenty of chances here with Granada poor at the back.
