Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is set to become the new Rangers manager after accepting a three year deal in principle according to some sources in England.
The former Liverpool talisman is ready to replace Graeme Murty after reaching an agreement with the Rangers hierarchy on Thursday. It is understood Gerrard asked for assurances on transfer budget before agreeing to take the role.
