Earlier Jose Mourinho wanted to land Antoine Griezmann. But French said that he’ll refuse all offers due to the Atletico’s transfer ban. And Gareth could have become a perfect £100m substitute for Ibrahimović.

Yet Real Madrid have won UEFA CL after the gorgeous 4-1 match against Juventus and Bale isn’t going to leave.

“I’m happy, my family is happy and we will continue what we are doing. We are winning trophies and that makes me happy. I have already signed a long-term contract at Madrid. So I’m determined to stay”, answered Real Madrid forward.

“There are not so many people, who have won three Champions League trophies in four years. We did great and I want it to continue. That’s why we are footballers and it’s the reason I came here in the first place”, added Bale.

So Gareth Bale isn’t going to Manchester. But for Mourinho, there are still chances to get Real’s Alvaro Morata, Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe or Everton’s Romelu Lukaku. Probably, that three attackers would be the main transfer targets for the next weeks.
