Arsenal player Gabriel Magalhães could be considered as a possible replacement to David Alaba at Bayern Munich, according to Hamburger Morgenpost.
The Austrian international is out of contract at Allianz Arena next year and is yet to sign a new contract with the German club. This means he can start to negotiate a free transfer with European giants during the winter transfer window, something the German champions obviously aren’t happy about. However, if Alaba decides to leave, Bayern will need a replacement. Who would it be?
Several footballers could fill the role. Sources name Andrea Bastoni from Inter Milan, Jordan Torunarigha from Hertha Berlin, and Pau Torres from Villarreal. Moreover, Gabriel Magalhães, who currently plays as a defender for Arsenal, could also be a candidate.
While the Brazilian could be a perfect option for Bayern, Arsenal won’t let him go for free. According to reports, the Gunners want no less than €30 million for the 22-year-old.
