According to reports, Milan have started talks with the representative of Franck Kessie over extending his contract with the Rossoneri.
The Ivorian has demonstrated great performance over the past months and is considered one of the top midfielders in Serie A. Therefore, the Italian side are planning to keep the 23-yer-old player for as long as possible and have initiated consultations over the possibility to extend his contract.
The current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2022, meaning that there is some urgency to discuss the conditions and avoid problems like the one the club’s management is now facing with Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
According to the same source, the talks with the midfielder have started to extend his presence at San Siro until 2024, and the Serie A side are going to close the deal by Christmas.
It seems that the Rossoneri want to accelerate the process, and there are positive feelings over the situation.
