New Gunners boss Unai Emery is a huge admirer of the player and thinks he would be a valuable addition to the squad having coached him at Sevilla.
The former PSG coach has already confirmed the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus and goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Leverkusen. Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira is expected to become the north London club’s third summer signing in the coming days.
