Eintracht Frankfurt Vs Borussia Dortmund DFB Pokal Live Online Commentary

Eintracht’s head coach Niko Kovac can be much happier with the first part of the season when his team was among the candidates for the UEFA Champions League place. However, Eintracht dropped in form in the second part of the campaign to end the Bundesliga season at the 11th spot. Kovac’s men had a pretty easy way during the journey to the final in the capital. The toughest of the obstacles has been Borussia Monchengladbach in the semifinal when Eintracht secured the final after penalty shootout. Defender Jesus Vallejo, midfielders Makoto Hasebe, Omar Mascarell, and Marc Stendera, and attackers Shani Tarashaj, Marius Wolf, and Alexander Meier are expected to be missing for Frankfurt.

On the other hand, BVB’s manager Thomas Tuchel can be lucky to sit on Borussia’s bench after a poor season in both Bundesliga and Champions League. Borussia did slightly increase the form in the fianl part of thee season when Dortmund won four and drew two of their last six matches. The team, however, showed the best performance in 2017 in the semifinal of DFB Pokal when they came back from behind to eliminate arch rivals Bayern Munich away from home at Allianz Arena. As for Borussia’s team news ahead of the final: midfielders Andre Schurlle, Felix Passlack, Julian Weigl, and Mario Gotze will be missing for Dortmund.
