Arsenal’s Krystian Bielik has been already signed by Derby. They have reportedly shelled out $11,56m for the defensive player. The contract already comes with add-ons. It’s going to be a club record for Derby, surpassing the $9,73m amount spent on buying Matej Vydra in 2016.
The player demonstrated impressive performance in League One at Charlton the previous season. Having agreed on a five-year deal with Derby, the player is expected to make his first appearance with the club on Monday at Huddersfield.
In 2015, the player became part of Arsenal. However, he was forced to break up with the London club due to the fact that he didn’t manage to make a Premier League appearance.
Phillip Cocu, the Derby boss told that they are satisfied with the 21-year-old player and find him a promising investment. He added that he performs perfectly for his age. The player is expected to act as a defensive midfielder or centre-back in the team. His transfer appears to be Derby’s fourth signing for this summer.
