Chelsea beat Manchester City to win the 2020/2021 Champions League

In the final match of the Champions League, Chelsea beat Manchester City. The game was held at the Dragau stadium in Porto (Portugal) and ended with a score of 1:0.

In the 37th minute, Chelsea defender Thiago Silva was injured. Silva collided with City midfielder Filip Foden. The Blue defender lay on the field for a long time but continued the game. However, a couple of minutes later, Silva was replaced by the defender of the London team Andreas Christensen.

In the 43rd minute, Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz opened the scoring. Mason Mount made an incredible pass from his half to Havertz, who beat Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson and sent the ball into an empty net. In the 60th minute, Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne was injured in a collision with Chelsea defender Antonio Ruediger and was replaced. The Belgian left the pitch in tears.

Chelsea won the Champions League for the second time in their history. Manchester City played in the final of the tournament for the first time.
