Chelsea are open to proposals for Fikayo Tomori and Antonio Rudiger in the winter transfer window, according to reports. It seems that boss Frank Lampard is planning to cut the number of centre-backs at the squad.
Both footballers almost left the Premier League side in the summer. Tottenham and West Ham United were interested in signing Rudiger while it was said that Everton were keen to get Tomori on loan. Unfortunately, both deals failed and the players had to stay and fight for their places at Stamford Bridge. However, the situation has changed in recent weeks.
Barca have been linked with a transfer for Rudiger but they need to make a formal contact over a possible move. At the same time, Everton have already signed Ben Godfrey but West Ham are eyeing Tomori.
It remains to be seen whether the Blues would allow both the footballers to leave but it’s clear that Rudiger and Tomori are on the verge of change right now.
