Tonight we have seen the significant game between Chelsea and Watford. John Terry was the one who showed exceptional performance by putting the own team ahead at the very beginning, and a few minutes later he decides to assist his rivals.
The start was literally fairy tale for Chelsea. Terry opened the match with excellent corner after 22 minutes of the match. “If I could have written my story as a 14 y.o. boy, when I have signed, this totally would have been it”, said skipper in the program note.
Social media appreciated his efforts very highly though.
Had to be!
Who else, but John Terry on his first PL start since September?

John Terry just scored. Still time for him to bag an Own Goal and a Red Card. One last "John Terry Hattrick" for Old Times Sakes

But two minutes later 36-year-old captain made a huge mistake. His header was sent to the own net. So Étienne Capoue simply finished the job and equalized the score. We can only imagine what have felt Terry at that moment.

GOAL! JOHN TERRY HAS COST CHELSEA A GOAL IN ONE OF HIS LAST GAMES BEFORE HE GOES AWAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Anyway, without that bizarre mistake, the match wouldn’t have been so exciting. So Chelsea didn’t despond and keep scoring. Azpilicueta and Batshuayi made two goals lead. And when victory was almost in the pocket Daryl Janmaat started narrowing the gap with a superb goal. Then Hornets substitute Stefano Okaka dumped all efforts of Blues and scored from close range on 74.
This would have been a huge failure if substitute Cesc Fabregas didn’t snatch a late win in the 88 minute. He made the brilliant 7th goal in the season and literally put the point on the game. Tonight Chelsea deserved to leave the pitch as champions.
Next Blues will host Sunderland on Sunday in the final game of the season, which would make them legitimate winners of the Premier League for the sixth time.
