Arjen Robben isn’t going to play once more in 2018 because of his concerns regarding exacerbating thigh injury as confirmed by Niko Kovac, the head coach of Bayern Munich.
According to Kovac, the winger is going to be rested for the rest of the 3 league games of Bayern Munich prior to the mid-season break so that he is able to recover completely. He has also told the news that Robben is not going to play for the half of the season. They are focusing on 4th January.
Bayern Munich is heading towards another run for the free games within 8 days with the trip of Hannover on Saturday after the games played against Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig next week.
Kovac plans on waiting till the training of Friday prior to naming his team. He says that they have one day less because of the match on Wednesday than on Tuesday. The club is going to decide who will be playing after the training. For him, it is necessary to keep in mind that there are three games.
