Bayern Munich’s first season under the patronage of the new head-coach Carlo Ancelotti has been brilliant so far. Ancelotti’s side kicked their 2016/2017 campaign off with a 2–0 win in the Super Cup against archrivals Borussia Dortmund, taking away their first piece of silverware in the process. Than they demolished Werder Bremen in the opening match of the new Bundesliga season with impressive 6–0 scoreline. Though Bayern have played two more tricky fixtures since them, neither Schalke in the Bundesliga nor Rostov in the UEFA Champions League have been too much cause for concern. Munich won 2–0 and 5–0 respectively in these matches.

Meanwhile, Ingolstadt started their 2016/2017 campaign under a new manager, Markus Kauczinski, who joined them from 2. Bundesliga side Karlsruher. Ingolstadt have taken just one point in their first two league matches, settling for a 1–1 away draw with Hamburg in their debut game and 2–0 at home to Hertha Berlin last time out. Definitely it is not a start they wanted. As for the team news, Ingolstadt are without any players through injury or suspension.

Bayern Munich Vs Ingolstadt: Head-to-Head stats

Bayern Munich won 2–1 away to Ingolstadt when the two sides last met in May earlier this year.
