Bayern Munich has started their season perfectly, winning all three games. Firstly they tore apart Werder Bremen, 6-0, in their debut game of the season, then defeated Schalke by 2-0 margin, before thrashing Ingolstadt 3-1 in their game last Saturday also at the Allianz Arena. Ingolstadt actually scored the first goal of the game with a right-footed shot from the striker Dario Lezcano right at the eighth minute, but four minutes later it was equalized by Robert Lewandowski. After a 1-1 first half affair, Carlo Ancelotti’s side then hit two more goals in the second half, courtesy of midfielder Xabi Alonso and right full-back Rafinha at the 50th and 84th minutes respectively.

On the other hand, Die Alte Dame has also started their season with three straight victories. Hertha Berlin denied the challenge of freshly-promoted side Freiburg, 2-1, in their season-debut then defeated Ingolstadt in their second match, 2-0. Head coach Pál Dárdai’s men are coming off another 2-0 win, this time over rock bottomed Schalke 04, at their courtyard of Olympiastadion last weekend.
