Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Bouna Sarr from the Ligue 1 club. The 28-year-old player has been in the spotlight since he joined the Ligue 1 side Marseille in 2015. He played in 27 league games during the last campaign, helping his club to get the second place on the table. According to the official announcement, Bouna Sarr has signed a four-year contract with Bayern to continue his football journey in Germany. The defender will partner with Eric Choupo-Moting, who also joined the Bavarians from PSG not long ago. The club’s management is sure that the right-back will strengthen the squad, taking into account his versatility. The Senegalese began his career with Gerland and also played for several youth clubs before his promotion to Metz. He made 96 appearances for the Maroons, and then joined the Stade Velodrome outfit in 2015. Sarr featured in more than 135 matches for the Phocaeans in four years.
