Aston Villa continue to target Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen, according to reports. DeichStube claims that the Premier League club are preparing a move for the striker during the winter transfer window.
The Lions retain their interest in the 24-year-old player for several seasons and are eyeing his current situation too. They were strongly linked with the Kosovan midfielder during the summer, but the potential deal fell through. It is added that the footballer himself will push for a departure from Bremen in January as he wants to take the next step in his sporting career.
However, Villa isn’t the only club that want to get Rashica. Bayern Leverkusen are also said to be interested in the forward after they failed to complete the deal during the deadline day. The expected fee for the player is about £20.5 million.
Rashica remains at the Bundesliga club but has experienced a drop in form this campaign. He has made four appearances so far but failed to score a goal. At the same time, he has been recovering from a knee injury.
