Aston Villa are preparing a move for Bournemouth striker Josh King according to reports.
The Norwegian international was eyed by Premier League giants throughout the summer, however, a move is yet to materialize. Sky Sports have claimed that Bournemouth rejected a £13 million offer from West Ham, so the future of Josh King remains to be uncertain.
The 28-year-old player was noticed after several excellent performances for the Cherries during the last campaign, although his efforts weren’t enough, as Bournemouth suffered relegation from the Premier League. While West Ham failed to sign the footballer, King is still linked with a move elsewhere, as the striker made only one appearance for the Poppies this season.
Aston Villa are reportedly ready to initiate a ‘concrete move’ for King before the transfer deadline on Friday. The Villains clearly want to improve their attacking options and the Bournemouth seems to be a good choice.
