Another rejection for Barcelona’s £114m Coutinho bid

It is the third Catalonian offer, which was rejected by Kop. The first was £72m, then a week later it has raised to £91m. And today Jurgen Klopp refused the £114m bid for his 25-years-old player.

Barcelona told that they are close to signing Coutinho. Still, Liverpool is solid about their decision and they don’t want to see the player out of the squad.

Barcelona general manager Pep Segura on Thursday claimed that the deal is already closed. Jurgen Klopp answered in turn: “I don’t know why people are saying what they are saying. I don’t know and I even never met this guy before”.

Coutinho determined his future in Liverpool by signing 5 years contract in January. He had a great 2016/17 campaign scoring 13 Premier League goals and providing 7 assists. But he’s missing the first leg of the Champions League due to his back injury. Coutinho is set to miss matches against Hoffenheim, Watford and Crystal Palace.
