Alexandre Lacazette to Arsenal for a record £52m transfer fee

While Manchester City are targeting on Alexis Sanchez, Gunners have almost agreed for a record transfer fee. Alexandre Lacazette supposed to be the new attacker and Arsenal ready to pay about £52m for him.

The new Arsenal transfer can beat £42.5m bid which they have paid for Mesut Ozil. 26-years-old agreed to sign 5 years contract and became second signing of the summer. The first one was a free transfer ofSead Kolasinac from Schalke last month.

By the way, Gunners got lucky with the deal because Lacazette almost has moved to Atleti. But upholding their transfer ban ruined all plans for the young striker who scored 37 times last season and won 11 caps for France.

At the same time, Arsene Wenger does not want to sell Alexis Sanchez. But it’s obvious that he has become the too expensive player for them.

Also, the new deal can affect for Olivier Giroud. Everton and West Ham want to buy him for about £20m. For now, the player wants to stay at the Emirates, but with an arrival of the new strong attacker, Giroud can change his mind.
