Ajax Vs Manchester United Live Online Commentary

Ajax have three victories and two defeats in their last five games in all tournaments. They were beaten 1–0 on the road to PSV before claiming a vital 4–1 home win against Lyon in the Europa League semi-final first leg. They came back to Eredivisie play and won 4–0 at home against Go Ahead Eagles before they lost the second leg in Lyon 3–1. The Dutch side still progressed, however, to this point. On Sunday the 14th, they played on the road with Willem II and won 1–3, but they fell just short of Feyenoord in the Eredivisie standings as the season came to an end. As always there is plenty of gifted young players in this Ajax squad, and their success will come from those starlets.  One of those men is Kasper Dolberg. The Danish striker is just 19 years old, but has already started to be linked with some of Europe’s giants due to just how well he has been doing. He notched 16 goals in his first season with the first team to lead his side in the Eredivisie. He added six more in the Europa League, including a goal in each leg of the semi-final tie with Lyon. Those proved crucial to them, and he’ll have the chance to once again show his sharpness in front of goal against United on a huge stage come Wednesday night.

On the other hand, Manchester United are one of the most successful teams in the history of world football, but there is one trophy that has eluded them so far, the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils’ head coach Jose Mourinho has a phenomenal record in winning finals and he will bank on improving that record on Wednesday night. He has won 11 of his 13 finals to date and has already opened his account at Man United, when he oversaw a 3–2 win over Southampton in the League Cup final earlier this season. It’s been a less smooth ride to the final for the Red Devils and since they comfortably passed Saint-Etienne in the first knockout stage of the tournament United have seen four of their six matches finish with both teams finding the back of the net. Mourinho will undoubtedly point to the fact that they have scored in each of their Europa League matches since they failed to score against Feyonoord first time out but with just eight goals from their last seven in the competition there is still plenty left to be proved.
