Malta national team didn’t qualify for the European Championship this summer. They were an obvious outsider of the table in their group that consist, Croatia, Italy, Azberjian, Bulgaria and Norway with just 2 points in the bag. Malta have been on a dreadful form in 2016 with zero wins during all year. The Mediterranean side will be looking forward to a win or at least a draw to start this campaign on a positive note.

Meanwhile, Scotland also missed the trip to EURO 2016 in the summer. They only gathered 15 points in a pretty tough group that consisted of the powerhouse Germany, Georgia, Poland, Republic of Ireland and Gibraltar. Their best games of the group stage was the home and away victory over Gibraltar side, they scored 6 goals at each ground and conceded just one goal at home. The Scottish team will be hoping for a win against a low rated Malta boys.
