Jürgen Klopp’s squad had a controversial start to the 2016/2017 Premier League season as they were without a win in two for their first three games. However, Liverpool slowly went into form as the team has now won its last two fixtures. The Reds turned back a tough challenge from Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, 2-1, on the road at the Stamford Bridge last Friday to emerge victorious in one of their hardest tests this term. The goals were scored through central defender Dejan Lovren and the skipper Jordan Henderson.

Meantime, Hull City enjoyed a 2-0 start to the season but had been winless in their last three fixtures to settle in the middle of the overall table, at 12th place, at the moment. Their most recent match was a 1-4 tarashing in the hands of Arsene Wenger’s team Arsenal at their home turf of KC Stadium last Saturday.

Liverpool Vs Hull City: Head-to-Head Stats

The Tigers’ joint-heaviest Premier League defeat (along with 0-5 v Wigan) came at Anfield in September 2009, losing 6-1.
