John Terry is leaving Chelsea after 19 years in the club

Chelsea captain who played for Blues since 1998 will leave the club at the end of the season. Terry played 713 times for the team and captained Chelsea for 578 times.  He is the third all-time-highest-Chelsea-player for appearances.

36 y.o. Briton finishes career in the club after his fifth Premier League. “It still feels so many to offer on the pitch but in Chelsea opportunity is limited for me”, says Terry. He joined the club as the 14-year-old boy and scored 66 goals as a centre-back.

“I will always be blue, of course. Still, I feel it’s a right time for me and the club to leave at the end of the season”, added Terry.

He didn’t mention specific team and officials didn’t make any statements. However, there was an announcement from BBC reporter that Terry likely will sign for West Brom.

Blues lost the previous game against Man United, however, they are at the Top of the Premier League table with 75 points.
