Fernando Torres has left hospital after horror head injury

Earlier Atletico Madrid star was knocked out after suffering a head injury. During the match vs Deportivo La Coruna 32 y.o. halfback got crashed heavily with Alex Bergantinos. Then Torres left the field on stretchers and spent all night in the hospital.

There was huge concern from all players. Diego Simeone told they heard the blow from the benches and were very afraid. “We actually were frightened and thought that was his neck,” says Atletico’s coach.

Atletico Madrid had to finish the game with 10 players and use all three substitutes. After that, no one really cared about results because whole attention was on the Torres’s health. Even former clubs, in which Fernando has played (Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan), expressed their good wishes to him.

Today morning Atletico confirmed the player has no traumatic alterations or injuries. After 48 hour resting, he’ll be able to play. Also, Fernando has thanked all in Twitter about worrying and said he is alright for now: Thank you all for supporting messages and worrying. It was very scary, but I hope I’ll come back very soon”.
