Belarus have shown some marked signs of improvement lately. They finished fourth in their Euro 2016 tough qualifying group behind the likes of Spain, Slovakia, and Ukraine, and whilst they were a long way off the playoff spot, an 11 point loot with such a difficult group can be considered as a good achievment considering they finished at rock bottom of their last World Cup qualifying group.

Meanwhile, France had an almost exemplary EURO 2016 Campaign, winning the likes of Germany in the semi-final but Portugal was a their Achilles’ heel. They held on till the extra time before Eder’s strike stole the European Cup from Didier Deschamps’ side. French team seem to have improved more after the Euro, as they defeated Italy side in a 1-3 away win at Italy. Martial, Giroud and Kurzawa were all among the scorers for France with Graziano Pelle scored Italy’s only goal. They will be confident on winning this fixture as they prepare for another successful qualifying campaign. The likes of Paul Pogba, Dimitri Payet, Antoine Griezmann and Anthony Martial all retain their places, while Patrice Evra has been dropped by Didier Deschamps.
